About the Community Development District (CDD)

The Grand Haven Community Development District (CDD) is an independent local special-purpose government unit, created pursuant to the provisions of Florida Statutes Chapter 190. The CDD is responsible for serving the long-term specific needs of Grand Haven.

It is run by 5 board members who are elected by the residents of GH during national elections.
Its main powers are to plan, finance, construct, operate and maintain our community's infrastructure and services specifically for the benefits of homeowners / residents.
Each year it adopts an operating and maintenance budget and a separate capital improvement budget.
The CDD is funded through the annual home owners non-ad valorem taxes.
The CDD contracts with a specialist Community Management Services Company, currently Vesta Property Services, to manage all Grand Haven Amenities.
